Abstract
A synthetic access to polymagnesiated aromatics and heteroaromatics via multiple magnesiations was developed, their reactivity towards different electrophiles was explored. A diatereoselective synthesis of functionalized cyclopropane carbenoids was developed. Soluble Lanthanide soloutions were prepared and used in the addition reactions of Grignard reagents to carbonyl compounds.
