Abstract
Wundheilungsstörungen unterschiedlicher Ursachen gehören zu den bekannten Komplikationen nach der Kastration des Hengstes. Häufig treten Schwellungen im Bereich der Kastrationswunde auf. Um die Wundheilung nach der Kastration zu optimieren, sollte geprüft werden, ob die Verabreichung von Phenylbutazon oder Traumeel die postoperative Wundschwellung positiv beeinflussen kann.
