After a cardiac heart surgery at humans, very often cognitive and neurologic troubles occur. For this reason, it is sensible to establish an animal model describing the effects on cognitive and neurologic functions, as well as the behaviour after a complete cardiopulmonary bypass with a technological improved oxygenator adapted to the size of the rat.
Nach herzchirurgischen Eingriffen treten beim Menschen häufig kognitive und neurologische Störungen auf. Daher ist es sinnvoll, ein Tiermodell zu etablieren, das die Auswirkungen auf kognitive und neurologische Funktionen, sowie auf das Verhalten nach einem kompletten kardiopulmonalen Bypass, der mit einem technisch verbesserten, an die Größe der Ratte adap-tierten Oxygenator versehen ist, abbildet.
