Die vorliegende Arbeit soll einen Überblick über das Spektrum pathologischer Veränderungen unter Berücksichtigung einer möglichen Alterskorrelation geben. Eine signifikante Alterkorrelation zeigte sich bei den Ablagerungen von lipidhaltigem Pigment in Rinde und Mark sowie dem Auftreten von Kapsel- und Rindenknötchen.Da die Knötchen schon bei neugeborenen Hunden beobachtet werden konnten handelt es sich, entgegen der Aussage in der Literatur nicht um ein Altersphänomen.
This doctoral thesis provides an overview of the spectrum of pathological changes with consideration of possible correlations to the age of each dog. A significant age correlation was found for the deposition of lipid pigment in cortex and medulla, as well as in the presence of nodules in the capsule and cortex. Contrary to descriptions in the literature the presence of nodules is not a phenomenon of old dogs, since newborn dogs showed them as well.
